How to configure proxy server settings in mIRC?

In this article we will guide you on how to set up a proxy on the mIRC interface. Before we proceed with the setup, please make sure you have a running internet connection and your current IP is added in your panel under “Authorized IPs“.

Run mIRC and click “Tools” then “Options”.

Fill “Hostname” with proxy IP address and choose option SOCKS5 from protocol. Click “OK”. &nbsp;Note: Leave username and password blank, since our SOCKS5 proxies only works in IP based authentication.&nbsp;
